Meeting our two goals in the Annual Fund was such a great accomplishment and a manifold blessing!
The financial aspect is a blessing, of course, but more than this, we were so encouraged by EVERYONE’s support and approval of what we do at Veritas!
This ministry is obviously not our own. Your partnership is very valuable and we bring all the glory to God!
The Lord has great plans for Veritas and it is so exciting to see you partner with us with 100% backing!
Final results will be announced this week by the Campbells who were not able to be present at school today because of illness in the family.

Special Guest Performance
The St Pius High School Band will be performing a mini Christmas concert for all our students THIS Friday from 2:00-2:30 pm in the gym. Some of our Middle School students who play in the Advanced Band might perform with them. Please join us!!

Invite Grandma, Grandpa and the whole neighborhood to come and enjoy our Christmas play this year!

Caution in the Parking Lot
Please exercise wisdom and caution by not leaving any important belongings in your car. Hide things in your trunk and take your purse with you!
We have unfortunately had two break-in incidents this past month and the City of Bellaire Police have been made aware.

Winter Wear
Students may wear a white or navy turtleneck or long-sleeved shirt under their LONG- SLEEVED uniform, or girls PK-4th under their chapel jumper, if they have a tendency to be very cold. Annual Fund
Thank you for your participation in our DOUBLY successful 2013 Annual Fund Campaign!!! We are profoundly grateful to every family for your participation!
Pledges are due by May 31, 2014. However, for pledges to be deductible on your 2013 tax return you may do one of the following:

Pay in the office until December 20
-
Pay through PayPal (Veritasca.org/Support/”Donate”) until December 31
-
Send a check through the mail with a postmark by December 31
Please note: checks brought in to the office after December 31 will be 2014 tax year donations.
Students will have a free dress day THIS Thursday, December 5th as a reward for 100% participation
Mr. & Mrs. Campbell will be announcing the First, Second and Third Prize winners one morning this week! We will have the final results in the next edition of the VE. |

Middle School Midterms
7th and 8th graders will have their midterms during the last four days of the semester. Parents, please do not schedule any doctor’s appointments on those days and do not attempt to leave early on vacation! 5th and 6th graders will not have any midterm exams this year.

Open House
Our last open house was very successful, thanks to all those who invited friends and prospective parents! Our next open house is around the corner Wednesday, December 11th at 9AM! Please pass along this information to anyone with school-aged children!

Community Service Hours
Middle School students and parents:
The induction ceremony for National Honor Society is coming up in January!
Community Service hours to qualify for membership (5th = 20 hours, 6th-8th = 30 hours) are due January 4th, our first day back from Christmas Break.
Have fun and give back to others over the Christmas holidays!

Thursday, Dec. 5th is the final day to order your child's Speed Stack cups! Please remember to make checks payable to Speed Stacks, Inc. or if ordering online look for Veritas under the Group Order tab.

Bless the the Homeless with a
NEW pair of Shoes & Socks
It is that time of the year where we start collecting NEW tennis shoes and SOCKS for the homeless. Students will be collecting them in homeroom. The class with the most items will get to deliver them at the Star of Hope!

London Trip Information Meeting - Friday, December 13th at 7:30am in Ms. Jones room. We will meet to discuss the itinerary, details of the trip, and answer any questions you may have.
