Futures Rehabilitation Center, Inc. "Building on Abilities"
New Elevator Is Now Operational!
Futures Rehabilitation Center has completed the installation of a new elevator at our One Futures Way facility. The new ThyssenKrupp elevator replaces an old elevator which was original to the Butter-Krust building Futures purchased in 1974. The new 21,000 pound capacity elevator is accessible for individuals with disabilities. This provides our participants increased independence while working within the building. Funding for the new elevator was provided by the Edith L. Trees Charitable Trust. Removal of the old elevator and construction of the new elevator and the supporting infrastructure was done by ThyssenKrupp Elevator Engineers, Kessel Construction, and Minich Electric.
