Dear Moms and Dads
Wow what special evenings and Saturday morning, we have had over the past week. The children were
‘Simply the Best!!’
 
The staff and I enjoyed every moment and we were really proud of all our delightful children. They sang so beautifully and excelled on stage.
 
We sure will miss all those who will be moving to Grade 1 next year, as well as all those going to new schools. We hope that you carry fond memories with you and remember that we would love you to come and visit us again soon.
NATIVITY PLAYS
A huge thank you to all the FHPPS staff for their hard work each evening and during the weeks running up to the plays.
You guys are AWESOME!!
The children and parents loved every minute. Such special evenings!

CHRISTMAS TOY DONATIONS
The Knights of Da Gama are once again appealing for donations of good second hand toys. Please bring them in to the office by Friday 22nd Nov.
CHRISTMAS PARTY 4TH DEC
As is tradition at FHPPS, we have a Christmas party for the children on 4th Dec. and Father Christmas arrives and hands out gifts to the children.
Please be sure to bring a gift wrapped, and with your child’s name clearly displayed on the outside, to the office by Thursday 28th November, so that Father Christmas will have a gift to hand to your child.
 
MOST IMPORTANT: WE WOULD LIKE THIS TO BE A SURPRISE FOR THE CHILDREN SO PLEASE DO NOT TELL THEM, AND PLEASE BRING THE PRESENT SECRETLY INTO THE OFFICE SO THAT YOUR CHILD DOES NOT SEE YOU DOING IT!!!!!!!
 
The gift for your child must be to the value of R50 and no more!!!! Please support us in keeping to this request!
EXCITING STAFF ANNOUNCEMENT
Tuesday morning 26th November will be Bonita Engelbrecht, our Angelfish teacher’s last day for this year. She and her husband Donahue have for the last 5 months been going through the process of adopting/foster a child. All this waiting has finally come to an end and they hope to take their precious baby Tyrize, (18months old) home on Tuesday afternoon. We wish them loads of love and happiness at this very special time.
Bonita will come in for a short time on Wednesday 27th Nov for the Angelfish and Starfish class party, but will officially return to school at the start of the school next year, 15th Jan 2014.  
SCHOOL FEES
*Please note that all school fees are due by the 4th December 2013.
*Your child will not be allowed back to FHPPS in 2014 if fees are outstanding.
*If outstanding fees are still outstanding by end Jan 2014 then unfortunately you will be handed over for collection of those fees.
CHRISTMAS BOXES FOR RAINBOW EDUCARE
Thank you we will be taking the Christmas boxes to Rainbow Educare this Thursday 28th Nov to hand them out to the teachers and children. If anyone would like to come with us please let me know. You are most welcome!

Hello Everyone.
Wow, what stars I have!! All the Penguin Children were wonderful on Friday evening with their Nativity Concert. I am so proud of them. We will be going on our last outing on Monday 2nd Dec to Corey’s grandparent’s small holding in Kommetjie. Could each child bring R10 towards a party pack please. We still need lifts and parents must remember to sign the outing form. Don’t forget sun hats and sunblock.

CHRISTMAS DVD AVAILABLE 
Dvd's of each groups Christmas Nativity Play is available in the office at a cost of R50 per copy.
Please put your name on the list outside your child's classroom and pay in the office. Jane will check the names and order the copies for you.


OPEN DAY EVERY WEDNESDAY AT 9AM

Lets share our wonderful school with family and friends. Fish Hoek Pre-Primary will be giving prospective parents an opportunity to come and have a look at the school in action. Interested parents are welcome to pop in on Wednesdays at 9am for a school tour and chat.
Please spread the word and let more children benefit from our fabulous, warm, caring and educational environment.
We cater for children 2 years until 6 years which includes a Grade R year. Our Grade R's follow the WCED curriculum. (CAPS)

It's Christmas time at FHPPS. The children are having such fun making Christmas pictures and goodies. Here the Angelfish children are making Christmas trees. 
We are taking advantage of the good weather and doing some activities in the garden. What FUN!!!!! 
Ice-cream Friday was such a success. We raised just over R700 for Rainbow Educare. Thanks so much everyone!!!!!
