Health & Environment

Passionate on Pedestrian and Pedalcyclist* Issues?
You can join the The Friends of Belmont Community Path Google Group: a group formed to communicate activities for and items of interest to supporters of the Belmont Community Path. The goals of the Friends of the Belmont Community Path will be to provide outreach to the community regarding the path, to deliver appropriate input to the Belmont Board of Selectmen regarding community support for the path, and ultimately to raise money for the path if it moves forward. You can also email the group (without joining): friends-of-belmont-community-path@googlegroups.com
Bike enthusiasts can also converse at 'Bike Belmont' on Facebook.

Reminders... *Pedacyclists are riders of bicycles (two-wheel non-motorized cycles) and other cycles (tricycles and unicycles) powered solely by pedals. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration reports that in 2011, 69,000 pedestrians and 48,000 pedalcyclists were injured by motor vehicles.
Sustainable Belmont is an all-volunteer organization that has regular discussions, workshops and presentations to enable the community to be environmentally sustainable.

Meetings and events are always open to the public.

Kind regards and mind your impact,
