Semantic
Web Company - Newsletter
20/12/13
Dear Subscriber !
The old year started with an augury coming from Gartner "Semantic Technologies and NoSQL Will Play Key Roles in 2013" and ended with terrible news on struggling NoSQL solutions serving ObamaCare's website.
But beside such sensational headlines the normal life brought a solid development in the sector: More mature tools, more solid thesauri, more trusted links and more quality data were released. In fact it seems, that 2013 was a year of an arriving normality with the semantic web, with less overdrawn expectations and a realistic view on the development paths. In short, a healthy year for the the semantic web and linked data.
Read more about it in this newsletter.
With best regards,
Thomas Thurner
