Greetings!

I think I suggested last week that Ol' Man Winter might make an appearance, and unfortunately it looks like I was right. But you have to admit there is a beauty to it, non, and it is nice to have the white stuff for Santa and his sleigh to cruise around in. If only we did not have to drive in it, and there is that shoveling thing as well. But I digress. It is starting to look a lot like Christmas, as they say, and we hope you have time in your busy schedules to join us for some good foo, tasty wine and Holiday Cheer. Our specials this weekend include Black Grouper, Mahi-mahi, and Delmonico Steaks, along with some other stuff, like Veal and Shrimp and Eggplant and Chicken and Calamari and Pasta and Clams and Mussels and...

I mentioned some new wines added to our list last week, and I want to remind you again of the excellent Amarone from Zeni that we are able to offer at $%$/bottle. This is one of the more approachable Amarones I have tasted, and while not inexpensive is far less than what one typically has to pay for an Amarone. Another Italian wine I have added is a Montepulciano D'Abruzzo from San Zopito, which is available for $40/bottle. This wine is 100% Montepulciano, and is not to be confused with the Vino Nobile de Montepulciano which is also on our list. The Vino Nobile is a Sangiovese wine and lighter in style and body than the Montepulciano D'Abruzzo, which offers excellent fruit and nose and medium to full body. Both of these wines work very well with our menu. As I have said many times before, it is fun to leave one's comfort zone sometimes, at least as it relates to wine, and try something different. We offer wines from all over the world, and I am confident we have a wine that will work for you.
