Hastings Nurses Hold Candlelight Vigil and Food Drive
Group calls for Allina to treat community equally to its other facilities

WHAT Nurses represented by the Minnesota Nurses Association at Regina Medical Center will hold a candlelight vigil and food drive to highlight disparity in proposals that will negatively impact the community's hospital. Contributions of money, food or clothing will be collected during the vigil to be donated to Hastings Family Services.

WHY As contract bargaining sessions between MNA nurses and Allina Healthcare management continue, nurses are concerned the corporation may be attempting to abandon promises made to the community. The nurse group is united in its dedication to achieve a fair contract that protects patients and retains the level of nursing care the community expects in Hastings.
