Dear friends,
As we start off in 2014, we look forward to another wonderful year of connecting New York-area alumni to one another, to local organizations, and to cultural resources to give back to the greater community.
The past year saw more than 90 successful programs: the inaugural Foodtober; an extension of our community to Long Island, including a family-friendly picnic at a local vineyard; educational enrichment programs from YAANY's award-winning Company of Scholars; career and entrepreneurship panels; meaningful public service volunteer opportunities and Yale Day of Service events; and a myriad of varied initiatives in collaboration with fellow Yale alumni and shared interest groups.
YAANY was recognized by the Association of Yale Alumni Board of Governors with an Excellence Award for Emerging Leaders in 2013, in commendation of YAANY's successful efforts to engage new talent on our board and among our volunteers.
As a 501c(3) nonprofit, YAANY operates with a very lean budget, so to help us start the new year on a good foot, we ask that you consider supporting us—and the impact that Yalies in New York make on the local community—through a
tax-deductible contribution.
Your generosity and support are very much appreciated!
We look forward to seeing you this year. In the meantime, remember to take advantage of our website and our social media sites to keep up to date with YAANY and connect with other Yalies.
Warm wishes,
The Yale Alumni Association of New York
