Season's Greetings from the WikEM Team!

Happy Holidays from the WikEM Team!  2013 has been a great year of growth and we want to take this time to look back at all the new additions and introduce you to our newest initiative WikEM Journal Club!

As always, we are thankful for the great community that makes WikEM a fantastic resource for knowledge and education.   We can't wait to show you all the new projects in store for 2014!

Thank you for the great year!

WikEM JC

Our newest initiative  allows students, residents, and physicians to contribute to the evidence based practice of Emergency Medicine.  Every month WikEM will feature a journal article for review.  After the review, questions will be added to the article to reinforce learning.  The success of the JC depends on everyone to contribute.  For December, we are reviewing the PERC Validation Trial.

Referencing
We added referencing and automatic footnotes.

Author Contributors

All contributors to a wiki page are credited in the Authoro section at the bottom of all articles.

Contribution Scores

We now rank contributors to highlight our lead editors and writers.

Board Review
Amy Kaji M.D. PhD gifted our site with 1000s of fully referenced board review questions.

Global Emergency Medicine Curriculum
Joseph Lex, M.D. started the GEMC to create a free and EM curriculum across the globe

We welcome two new resident edtiors:
Our resident editor program is open to all residents from Emergency Medicine residencies and offers a great way for young physicians to master medical content through active learning and medical education.
