Holiness, Godliness, Usefulness

Lesson 79: We Shall See Our Creator
God is infinite, eternal, everywhere, all-powerful; He knows all, and He never changes. He is 3 Persons (Father, Son & Spirit) in one nature; yet God the Son is 2 natures (100% God, 100% man) in one Person.
We know so little of God because He is God. We can’t comprehend; we can only admire. Today we see God imperfectly; when He appears, we shall see clearly.
1 Cor.13:12 For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I have been fully known.
1 John 3:2 Beloved, we are God’s children now, and what we will be has not yet appeared; but we know that when he appears we shall be like him, because we shall see him as he is.
About This Series
The goal of this series is to become more useful in serving the Lord Jesus Christ, as an instrument in the Redeemer's hand. The theme verses for the series are Ephesians 4:22-24, Philemon 11, 2 Timothy 2:21
- to put off your old self, which belongs to your former manner of life and is corrupt through deceitful desires, and to be renewed in the spirit of your minds,
- and to put on the new self, created after the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness.
- Formerly he was useless to you, but now he is indeed useful to you and to me.
- Therefore, if anyone cleanses himself from what is dishonorable, he will be a vessel for honorable use, set apart as holy, useful to the master of the house, ready for every good work.
