How Can We Improve Monitoring
and Evaluation With ICT?

December 17th DC Tech Salon - RSVP Now

M&E with ICTThe demand for quantifiable results is more important than ever. From foundations, to USAID, to individual donors, there is an expectation for real-time data as it happens.

We all claim to regularly monitor and rigorously evaluate our programs, but do we really?

We know we should be using the many tools of ICT to find and analyze data from every aspect of our work. And it should be easier with the plethora of low-cost survey, analysis, and visualizations tools.

Yet, there is still a gap between what the donor hopes for and what still happens.

So please RSVP now to revisit the intersection of technology and M&E at the next Technology Salon DC. We'll have two noted experts to guide our discussions:
  • Susan Stout, Senior Results Advisor, Development Gateway and ex-manager of the World Bank's Results Secretariat
  • Herb Caudill, Founder and CTO, DevResults and Caudill Web
We will be looking at both the new ways in which we can monitor and evaluate using technology today, and how we can design future programs to be better measured, with greater impact. Remember, you need to RSVP now to attend.

About the Technology Salon

subscribeThe Technology Salonâ„¢ is an intimate, informal, and in person, discussion between information and communication technology experts and international development professionals, with a focus on both:
  • technology's impact on donor-sponsored technical assistance delivery, and
  • private enterprise driven economic development, facilitated by technology.
Our meetings are lively conversations, not boring presentations. Attendance is capped at 30 people - and frank participation with ideas, opinions, and predictions is actively encouraged.

It's also a great opportunity to meet others motivated to employ technology to solve vexing development problems. Join us today!
