Improving the Resilience of Local communities project in Faqou village project
 
The Royal Society for the Conservation of Nature in close collaboration with the United Society for Developing Water Resources and Environment will implement a project entitled "Improving Resilience of Vulnerable Communities in Faqou Village”. Project will be implemented in Faqou village located in Karak Governorate close to Mujib Biosphere Reserve. The project is funded by the European Union and will work on the construction of a rain water harvesting ground tank and the installation of a grey water treatment unit. The project aims to enhance awareness on water and energy issues.

Scientific Name: Bubo bubo
 

The Eagle Owl was recorded from several localities in Jordan and is protected with Jordan’s network of protected areas. It is distributed sparsely through rocky areas but can potentially inhabit a wide range of habitats. As other owl species, it is nocturnal species in activity and mainly feeds on small mammals such as rodents, bats and insectivores.
