Students Needed for Trivia!

Heartland Senior Services is looking to rent students for their annual Community Trivia Night fundraiser on Friday, January 31st.  Teams of five to eight people compete to answer questions about topics such as sports, movies, history, geography, and current events.  Cash prizes are given to the top three teams. Door prizes from local businesses will also be awarded at the conclusion of the game.  Some of the teams would like an Honors student as a ringer and teams would like to “Rent a Student” for their team. Students interested in a very challenging trivia competition, working with the local community and enjoying night of fun should contact Laurie Smith Law, Honors Director, at lfiegel@iastate.edu by January 24.

Dust of Snow
Robert Frost

The way a crow
Shook down on me
The dust of snow
From a hemlock tree

Has given my heart
A change of mood
And saved some part
Of a day I had rued.
