Nosh: Andrea's Italian
By Amy Elizabeth Skinner

It’s no secret that I favor restaurants that are close to our ‘hood. Part of it is that I am lazy and don’t like to battle Dallas traffic—and part of it is that I am just plain proud of the growing culture around our neighborhood. I recalled that an Italian place had opened up earlier this year on Gaston and Tucker, near The Goat. The restaurant, Andrea’s Italian, Andrea's Italian, had moved from another location to Gaston.

The Front Porch Social
By Renee Cavin

We are excited to announce a new event for the neighborhood, The Front Porch Social. As the name suggests, the Socials will be casual neighborhood events, and weather permitting, we’ll be hanging out on the front lawn. All you have to do is stop by with some appetizers in one hand and a drink in the other. To ensure everyone can participate, the Social’s will most likely be a mixture of adults only and kid friendly events.
