The Kennedy Assassination Debate Continues (Reprinted from Texas Lawyer, October 28, 2013). By Brad Kizzia
I appreciated Brenda Jeffreys’ article (Texas Lawyer, October 21, 2013) about the panel discussion on the much discredited Warren Report of 1964, which discussion was recently sponsored by SMU Dedman School of Law in anticipation of the 50th Anniversary of the assassination of President John F. Kennedy on November 22, 2013. It is disappointing that the panel was limited to apologists for the Warren Report without equal time given to the spokespersons for  the U.S. House Select Committee on Assassinations, which did a more extensive investigation in the late 1970’s and concluded in its report that JFK was probably murdered as result of a conspiracy.
