The Center for Excellence in the Arts and Humanities (CEAH) has opened the FY15 internal funding opportunities for tenured and tenure-track faculty. The deadline for applications is Monday, March 3rd, 2014 by 5 p.m. See below for details.

Research Grant

CEAH provides grants of up to $5,000 for research and creative activity in the arts and humanities that contributes to the professional development of tenured or tenure-track faculty. The intent of the grants is to assist eligible faculty by providing funds for research that will contribute to the faculty member's career progression and development. Funds may be used for summer salary support, teaching releases, or allowable and germane research expenses such as equipment, hourly assistance, and travel. Preference will be given to projects that initiate new areas of research or launch new phases of ongoing research for individual faculty. Funds may not be used to complete a project of previously funded by CEAH. The proposed outcomes should be completed within one year, with publishable outcomes following after a normative period defined by the discipline.

The CEAH invites applications from associate and full professors to fund a substantial project that will increase their competitiveness in applications to funding agencies recognized by the Association of American Universities.
