The Jordans: In Colombia

¡Feliz Navidad! It's hard to believe that another year has come and gone here in Armenia, Colombia. Our family is so thankful for the privilege to serve as missionaries here and grateful to have such faithful supporters like you who make it all possible. We pray this holiday season be filled with family, friends, and opportunities to show those around you the love of Jesus and the significance of His birth.

CEDI graduation brought to a close a great 2013 at our missionary training school. We are also excited that three CEDI alumni have been appointed as missionaries to work with tribes here in Colombia and one alumni has been appointed to work in Southeast Asia sharing the message of Christ with Muslim peoples. We look forward to the beginning of our 2014 class which begins February 3.

University Ministry. We have just finished our second semester of campus ministry at the local public college. It has been incredible to see how God has worked in the lives of those who have become a part of our small groups. As we said our goodbyes this past week we were so happy to hear each of them ask when our small groups would begin as the next year approaches.

Family update. We are closing in on three years here in Armenia which means it's been at least that long since we've seen many of you. Sibila is four and will be starting kindergarten in February while Crews, three, will be in pre-k. We give thanks to God that they continue to thrive as third-culture kids. With one year remaining on this four-year term we will be working very hard in 2014 to prepare leadership to continue on without us when we return to the U.S. for furlough in early 2015.

Prayer Requests

-That God would continue to transform the lives of University students during Christmas break.
-That God would provide the resources for two Colombian families to study in CEDI.
-More churches and individuals to partner financially with our ministry.
-Safe travels over the next month for our family as we travel to Kenya for a meeting on working with unreached people groups and Sibila and Crews spend a week with their grandparents in Bogotá.

-End of year giving must be post marked by December 31st for 2013 tax deduction.
