"Outstanding" rating for Adams' following OFSTED Inspection
The team of inspectors, who visited in late November 2013, were particularly complementary of the quality of teaching and the wide range of personal skills pupils develop at the school. The OFSTED report described the academic standards as “exceptionally high” and highlighted that “student behaviour is outstanding”.

British Physics Olympiad
The British Physics Olympiad is a national competition designed to help young physicists to test their knowledge. 17 Adams' upper sixth Physics students have been awarded prizes at either Gold, Silver, Bronze or Commendation level. One pupil has been awarded one of only 50 Gold Awards and will now sit an additional paper aiming to become one of the top 15 and attend a special training camp at Oxford University.

Last 16 of the NatWest Cup for Adams' 1st XV
The Adams' 1st XV have advanced to the last 16 of the national NatWest Cup competition with an emphatic 21-3 victory over King Edwards, Stratford. A full report of the match can be found here and further images can be seen on our Facebook page.
The 7th round match against The Perse School, will kick off at 2.15 on the 29th January at Longford Hall, Old Novaportans are most welcome to attend and refreshments will be served in the Hall after the match. Please let us know if you're planning to come by emailing marketing@adamsgs.org.uk. |

The Novaportan Magazine
The Novaportan Magazine is written by a team of sixth formers and is designed to give a flavour of the academic year at Adams'.
Covering all areas of school life, from music and drama through to school trips and sporting achievements, it is a great reflection on the life of the school. This year the editorial team would like to include updates from Old Novaportans. The type of contributions they're looking for include anecdotes from your time here, updates on what you're doing now and how your time and Adams' helped you achieve that or images of your school days you'd like to share. You may have seen this picture which we recently shared on our Facebook page, memories of occasions like this would be very welcome.

Careers Convention
Would you like to share your knowledge and enthusiasm for your chosen career with current Adams' students? Our Careers Convention aims to provide Year 11-13 students with a range of options to inspire their future career choices. Attended by representatives of a wide range of careers it is an excellent way for the pupils to discover the wide range of options available to them. This year the event will be on the afternoon of the 21st March. If you could spare the time please email the School Secretary with details of the career you can offer expertise on and she will let you know more about what is involved. |
