ONC's CTO to Kick Off NASL Winter Conference
Doug Fridsma, MD, PhD will help kick off NASL's Winter Legislative & Regulatory Conference on Monday, February 10. As the Chief Science Officer & Director of the Office of Science & Technology Office at the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC), Dr. Fridsma is leading ONC efforts around interoperable health information and exchange. Medicare Appeals Office to Hold Forum on Appeals Backlog
The Department of Health & Human Services Office of Medicare Hearings & Appeals (OMHA), which handles appeals at the Administrative Law Judge (ALJ) level, will hold a forum on February 12 to discuss the backlog at the third level of appeals. Read more.
