A Heartwarming Story from Chile
Nine year old Sophia's father Fabian shared these heartwarming photographs of his daughter and her bedroom wall adorned with photos of Keiko Fukuda in anticipation of receiving their Mrs Judo DVD. Keiko Fukuda is Sophia's hero. She is ours too, Sophia! Thank you for sharing these photographs with us.

The program will include film screening of “Mrs Judo” and reflections from panelists Dr. Isao Fujimoto of UC Davis, Wilina Monar of Soko Joshi Dojo, Matsuo "Mac" Takeda of Sacramento Judo Club, and filmmaker Yuriko Gamo Romer. A special demonstration will be performed by Soko Joshi Dojo members Elena Royale and Anna Fernandez with narration by Frances Ellis.The event is jointly hosted by the Sacramento Japanese Film Festival, Jan Ken Po Cultural
