Benefits Services Coming to Your Region
Welcome to our new partners in 2014
Welcome to our latest partner, Gateways Community Services in Nashua. Gateways is going to be taking full advantage of GSIL’s disability benefits and work incentives expertise to further help the people they serve gain and increase their employment.
The people that Gateways serves, their families, Service Coordinators, vendors and the high schools in their region will all have access to critical Technical Assistance, Trainings, and Employment Benefits Services. The fears and myths experienced with disability benefits “Will my SSI be reduced?... Will I lose my Medicaid?… I can only work part-time!” will no longer be barriers to employment success in their region. We look forward to a great year ahead supporting Gateways and their network with these important employment services.
Some of our other partners throughout New Hampshire that have been benefiting from these GSIL Financial Planning for Employment and Benefits Services are Lakes Region Community Services based out of Laconia and Plymouth and Community Partners based out of Dover.
Lakes Region Community Services has been focusing on Technical Assistance and Trainings for families and staff with main concerns relating to managing SSI reductions and medical coverage (Medicaid and Medicare). Community Partners has had an initial focus on Technical Assistance for Medicaid Billing and Cost of Care and Spend-Down case reviews. We look forward to continuing our partnerships and making further progress over the next year.
