SALVE at Golden Globes Baby!
Shout out to Miranda Spigener of MS PR Film Literary in Los Angeles who hooked us up at the Studio 3 Luxury Style, Golden Globes gifting suite where we met probably 75 celebs!
It was so overwhelming with everyone huddling over the SALVE table wanting to try the herbal infused Super Soft Scrub and Intense Moisture Body Cream. The celebs took home some of our Waterless Hand Cleansers, hand-made soaks, scrubs and salves.
They pretty much even took the testers! Had so much fun seeing pictures of them along the red carpet, with you guessed it, SALVE on the wall! Dahlia was interviewed by some press folks both video and print for some Hollywood magazines which we'll post on Facebook when it comes out.

 RECIPE #3: Travel Disinfecting Makeup Removers / Face Wipes / Baby Wipes
Each newsletter issue we'll be giving you exclusive recipes to add to your SALVE Recipe Box. All you need is what's in your fridge and pantry, and maybe a couple SALVE products.

Ingredients & Supplies:
1 quart size zip lock bag
20 cloth-like paper towels, like Viva brand
6 Tbs coconut oil
1/2 C distilled water
20 drops tea tree oil
10-15 drops lavender oil
small metal bowl for mixing
1 stir stick/popsicle or chopstick
Directions:
Start by folding each paper towel neatly into halves or quarters (cut towels in quarters if you're using this for makeup remover cloths), and stack them neatly inside the zip lock bag. Place the coconut oil in the metal bowl and hover the bowl over a low fire setting on the stove so that the oil slowly melts. Do not place the bowl directly on the fire. This should only take a few seconds. Remove when the oil has melted. Add water and essential oils and stir thoroughly. Pour mixture into bag trying to saturate all the towels. That's it! The coconut oil and tea tree oils are disinfecting and antibacterial. The coconut oil together with the lavender will sooth the skin leaving a nice fresh smell.
You can actually make a larger amount by cutting the viva roll in half with a knife, and finding a container with lid. Place the half roll inside the container (minus the cardboard core) and add the same ingredients X 4. Pull from the center out! |
