Lifeguard certification ready to launch
West Vancouver School District will be offering some new programming and extending other successful courses for the 2014/2015 school year. Emergency Response Leadership 11, a new one year course for students in Grades 9-11, offers students the opportunity to pursue their life guard certification. Rockridge to host speaker on the value of a liberal arts and sciences education
How can a liberal arts and sciences degree help connect students to jobs? Dr. David Helfand, BA, MS, PhD, current president and Vice-Chancellor of Quest University, will join students and parents at Rockridge Secondary on February 12 at 6:30 pm to describe a model of education to produce informed and engaged leaders for the new century.
