A Story …
 I want to tell you an exciting story about being obedient to the voice of God. In October, 2013, when we were in Melbourne with Andrew at Hope City Church, during the worship segment God fixed my eyes on a little 11 year old girl. I didn’t have any idea who she was nor anything about her at all. Holy Spirit told me to go to her and speak to her His words – of which He would give me. It was such a strong directive. I was obedient and went to the girl. The Holy Spirit gave me words of encouragement for her regarding other kids who were being mean to her and then He told me to tell her how God sees her. Then I prophesied over her. I gave her a hug, found out her name was Lily, and walked back to my seat.
At our CBC-Gold Coast’s Open House on January 4th, a woman who had registered as a full time student walked up to me and said, “Do you remember a little girl that you prophesied to in Melbourne at Hope City church? Well, that was my granddaughter Lily – and you have no idea how powerful that was.â€
On January 10th – Lily, her 8 yr old sister Ruby, and her grandmother came to my house to visit with me. Lily told me that when I spoke to her, she was starting a new school the very next day because the kids in her previous school had been so mean to her. It turns out that Lily was the daughter of two of the worship team leaders at that church. Lily has had several visits from angels who have comforted her in different times of stress. She had a visit from an angel who took her in through a box that stretched out into another dimension, into the throne room of God. The angel showed her the throne of God, Jesus throne next to it, and then her throne next to Jesus with her name on it and talked to her about reigning with them.
Wow!!!! Lily isn’t like most children, and already has started walking in the gift of a prophetess. God gave me more prophetic words for Lily and we had a wonderful time. I would have missed all of this glory if I had not obeyed the voice of the Lord! And now Lily’s grandmother is one of our new students! Praise the Lord!
CBC Open House
Our Open House was a great success. We had approximately 50 people who attended with a great mixture of local pastors, ministry leaders, new students, and potential students. We gave them a good taste of what CBC-GC would be like to attend. Jessica led in worship, we gave a sampling of video clips from the instructors, talked about our new evangelism outreach on Fridays. Our staff was able to address the attendees as well. We had three new students enroll at the Open House with several more taking applications!

Are you ready to know how many students we have enrolled currently for our first year at CBC-GC? (drum roll please ----- 40!!!!!!!!!!!!) Praise the Lord! God told us to prepare for 50 students and we believe we will see it come to pass. We still have one month before orientation begins for school.
Friday Evangelism & Ministry
We are using everything we learned from our instructors at CBC-Colorado and we are adding two new things that the Lord gave us! We have re-arranged the structure of the curriculum (not leaving anything out) so that we have every Friday for our new program called Kingdom Evangelism. This program will consist of evangelism training and hands on ministry as we take students out to the Gold Coast on Friday mornings. We are so excited about this; I’m jumping up and down like a kangaroo as I’m writing! LOL
Then on Friday nights, our night students who will be led by David Carter will be hosting a ministry night at the school where new converts and contacts from the outreach can come and be ministered to. This will expose them to the grace and love of God through worship, prayer, and Biblical teaching in a casual setting. We are also working with local area pastors to come and be part of this ministry night; to reach out to these new converts so they can be incorporated into local churches where they will be discipled.
CBC Co-Op Program
The other new thing we are doing came through an inspired idea God gave Byron. We are launching a CBC Co-Op Program with local churches throughout Australia and New Zealand. This program will allow local churches to host the first year curriculum on a part time basis at their facility. We are working with them to schedule the first year video program over a two-year period. This will enable correspondence students from the area to meet at the church facility for fellowship and support and also open the teaching up to church members and local Christians. Our goal then is to eventually develop these Co-Op Programs into Satellite or Extension schools after a two- or three-year period. We have two churches that are now onboard!
The Team
We are very excited about two new additions to our AWMA/CBC-Gold Coast team. Jacqueline Ban is now Byron’s administrative assistant with AWMA. Jackie was moved by the Holy Spirit to come and join us in this new work in Australia after helping us at the GTS in October last year. Jackie had been pastoring a church in S. Korea. This was a BIG move for her – and just like the rest of us – she is doing it strictly as a volunteer. We love Jackie and she has already been a tremendous blessing to us in the short month that she’s been here!
On February 4th, Joshua Hill will be joining the AWMA team as the production manager. Josh has been training back in the States under the direction of David Hardesty, and has been working with every department in the production area at AWMI before he leaves for Australia. If you know Josh, you know he’s a producer in whatever he sets his hand to do. We are excited to welcome him to our family and team Down Under. Josh also comes as a volunteer.
The entire team has been busy every day from transporting furniture, painting, assembling chairs, processing applications, reformatting the entire curriculum, (from letter size to the Australian standard), handling ongoing correspondence, and so on.

God has been very faithful to us in His provision of our finances for the time we have been here. We have so many faithful partners that have joined to support us at $25, $50, $75 or $100 a month. We absolutely couldn’t keep doing what we are doing without them! When we came over to Australia, we transferred over our savings account, now, six months later – that reserve has gone. God continues to be faithful! He speaks to listening hearts, people obey, and together we get the job done!
