On Essex Mums this month
Hello everyone! Now that the summer holidays are upon us, I hope you're all retaining your sanity and haven't broken the bank yet! If you need to get out of the house and not spend much money, check out Essex Mums for lots of fun things to do.

Starting School
Worried about your child starting school in September? Why not come and talk about it on the forum? We have a Parenting section if you are in need of advice, and an Education section if you would just like to discuss where your child will be going. You may even find someone with kids going to the same school and make a friend to meet up with and give moral support with on that teary first day!

Are you pregnant?
We're currently experiencing another Essex Mums Baby Boom! Put your swollen, tired feet up and chat about your pregnancy with other Mums going through the same thing.

Places to Go & Family-Friendly Eats
These have been a bit neglected recently with the rush to get everything on the calendars for Summer, but I'll be working on them again from now on so if you know of somewhere you would like to see listed, please send me details, even if it's just a list of places you love to go with your family.

Groups & Classes
I would like to make sure all classes and groups have the correct times and dates on for September so please take a moment to check yours is correct if you run one. If you currently attend a great group you'd like to tell other parents about, please post about it! It's always great to hear what other parents have to say about somewhere. You can find a few different categories in the What To Do section.

Directory
More organisations have been added to the Essex Mums Directory, though it's still just starting out so look out for more in the future. Get in touch if you would like to be featured, while introductory rates apply.

Competitions
More great competitions on the site this month, including tickets for Baby Loves Disco and for the Plotters of Cabbage Patch Corner, Mums & Daughters Summer Holiday Cupcake Class, Five free lessons with Rayleigh Tuition and a Cutest Baby Competition, plus more to come as the month goes on.
