Preparing for Phase 1

Thank you to those of you who were able to fill out yesterday's survey. If you haven't had a chance to do so yet you can still take this 10-question online survey.

The survey helped us to get a better understanding of the group as a whole. A few highlights to share:
  • The vast majority of participants work either part or full time (we have one caregiver, which is a full time job in and of itself)
  • Fatigue was the top symptom for the group as a whole
  • Most everyone has cooking experience
  • The main fear is failing on the diet and feeling as they won't have enough time to stick to it
We have some other great comments too, like one person who isn't a fan of fish which is of concern given the main protein source in Phase 1 is fish. This and some other answers have prompted some blog ideas which I'll post in the upcoming days.

Preparation tips

As I mentioned above many of you have busy schedules and are concerned about fitting this more labor-intensive way of cooking/eating into your lives. Today and tomorrow we'll be prepping for Phase 1 so when the start of the diet comes you'll have be able to keep your time in the kitchen to a minimum.
