Planned Orders for Super Cupboards

Super Cupboards begin on Tuesday, February 18. Remember to place your Planned Order in Snap by 5pm on Monday, February 17!

Reminder: All Super Cupboard Planned Orders must be placed at least 24 hours in advance.

What if we sell all our cookies before the Super Cupboards open?

  • Connect with another troop or service unit in your area to get more inventory!
  • Remember to use your Order Card, and fill the orders after the Super Cupboards open.
  • COCO Command and COCOmobile are great resources! Send ecards to gather orders, and fill them once you get more cookies from a cupboard!

How Many Cases Should I Order for a Booth Sale?

High volume booth sales go through about 20 cases of cookies at most, so that is a great approximate number to start with for high traffic days and sites!

For a four hour, high volume booth sale, a recommended order would be:
  • 5 cases of Thin Mints
  • 5 cases of Caramel deLites,
  • 5 cases of Peanut Butter Patties
  • 3 cases of Lemonades
  • 2 cases of Thanks-A-Lots
  • 2 cases of Shortbreads
  • 2 cases of Peanut Butter Sandwiches
  • 2 cases of Cranberry Citrus Crisps
Things to keep in mind:
  • The quantity sold will vary by site, day, and time, so a safe suggestion for booth sales at high-traffic days and locations is always to order more of the favorites - Thin Mints, Caramel deLites, Peanut Butter Patties, and Lemonades.
  • Remember not to order quantities that are too extreme! The Product Program team reserves the right to adjust orders that are in excess of reasonable quantities (taking into consideration the day, time and site).

Girl Safety During the Cookie Program

Safety is our Number One priority for all Girl Scouts at all times. We want to provide additional support for those troops and girls who are inappropriately being targeted by groups wanting to push their own agendas during the Cookie Program.

Please read our safety tips and feel free to pass out this flyer if you are faced with those who have questions about funding and support from Girl Scouts.

"Buy 5" Promotion Clarifications

Don't forget to use our "Buy 5 and Win" promotion to give customers a great incentive to buy more cookies! You can find Entry Forms and more details here

NEW! The Buy 5 promotion now applies to both booth sales AND direct sales from girls! Be sure to have customers who buy 5 or more packages fill out an Entry Form to participate!

ACH Sweep Instructions

The first ACH Sweep will take place on Tuesday, February 25. This ACH Sweep includes 40 percent of your Initial Order and any additional cookies received on or before Feb. 18.  Here are a few reminders to make sure your first ACH sweep calculates correctly:
  • Complete all of your Troop to Girl Transfers in Snap so your troop profit shows and the ACH calculates correctly.
  • Did you transfer cookies to another troop? Be sure to enter all Troop to Troop Transfers. The troop who gave cookies should enter the transfer. Both troops will receive a confirmation email.
  • You should be collecting money regularly from your girls and depositing money from booth sales into your troop account. Don’t forget to reference the Money Management document on your Resource CD for best practices.
What should I do if I know that the money will not be in the bank on the date of the sweep?

Timely and regular communication among the leadership of the troop is a vital component of the success of ACH. However, we understand that emergencies happen. If you find that this is the case, the troop can fill out an ACH Adjustment Form and submit it to the GSGI Finance Department
at finance@gsiowa.org. This form must be received no later than five business days before the date of the sweep.

For additional ACH questions and information, please refer to the 2013-2014 ACH FAQ on your Resource CD and on our website.

Thank you for your attention to these items, so the first ACH sweep is conducted accurately and efficiently. If you have any questions, please contact our Finance Department at finance@gsiowa.org.
