Surviving & Thriving

OFF TO AFRICA!

As this email "went to press," Growing Bolder's Marc Middleton and Wendy Chioji are on their way to climb the tallest free-standing mountain in the world: Mt. Kilimanjaro! It's all a part of Livestrong's Survivor Summit.

Wendy has just recently finished up a second round of battling cancer. First she was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2001 and then thymic carcinoma in 2013. After a grueling set of radiation and chemo therapy treatments, Wendy says she's mentally and physically prepared for the climb.

Find out why Marc and Wendy are taking on this challenge and see how you can support survivors, too. Read about it now in our latest issue of the Growing Bolder Magazine and then check out Wendy's personal fundraising page.
