You are invited to the grand opening of the House of Yes......in Fall of 2014! All good things are worth the wait! Lucky for you, there are tons of other "grand openings" this week. There are a lot of "grand openings" scheduled at Bushwick Burlesque Tuesday night at Bizarre. There will also be even more "grand openings" at Go Fuck Yourself on Sunday at the Slipper Room! (For those of you really craving a sneak peak of the new space, we really need help moving equipment and set pieces next Tuesday. Read on for details!)

Tuesday, February 4th, Your Just Scary Presents:
LIMITLESS: A Marina Abramovic Tribute

We do a lot of fun and silly with Bushwick Burlesque, but this month we wanted to try a different route. Rather than presenting another silly and absurd cabaret for the "first Tuesday" series, we are experimenting with, and indulging, our Artistic side. We intend to pay tribute to a living Legend of Performance art herself, Marina Abramovic.

Don't be fooled. This is no tongue in cheek send up or Roast, by any means. This will be a heavy handed show. We as performers intend to create and present a Critical Tribute to be added to the pantheon of conversations around art and it's intrinsic value to society, and reality at large. And in a larger scope the entire evening is designed to be a site specific instillation with the stage show as one of the many components.

Tuesday Noon to 4pm: Moving equipment from La Luz to new House of Yes at 408 Jefferson St.

Tuesday 5pm to 10pm: Moving outdoor planetarium from 23 Meadow st L to Grand St, to the new HoY. Heavy lifting is required for this part of the adventure.
