Barnes and Noble Bookfair Information
 

 The Connection School Book-fair will be this Friday, February 7th.  Please pass the coupon with the ID number to your friends and family.  We will receive a 15 % contribution of purchases in store on February 7th using the voucher.  We will receive a 12% contribution of purchases for online orders February 7th through 12th using the code provided on the voucher.

All families are encouraged to attend the bookfair in store on Friday.  We plan to meet at the Barnes and Noble Copperfield location (7026 Hwy 6 N, Houston, TX 77095) as a school from 1:30-3:30 February 7th.  The Friday students will leave the school campus at 1:00.  The students are to be picked up at Barnes and Noble by 3:30.  From 1:30-2:00 the students will meet in Chapel Buddy groups.  The secondary students will read to the elementary students.  During 2:00-2:30 the Elementary students K-2 will browse through the books with their classroom teacher and do a group activity.  The 3rd through secondary students will do a scavenger hunt.  From 2:30-3:30 they will finish their activity and meet back with their parents.  This will allow parents a time to browse as well. Please plan to stay with your child at the store even though group activities are planned. 

There will be a school information table at Barnes and Noble.  Check in at the table to get extra coupons as well as check lists for suggested books to be purchased and donate to The Connection School.  

**”Dress Like Your Favorite Book Character Day” is Thursday, February 6th.  Students and faculty are welcome to come to school dressed like their favorite book character.**

We hope this will be a fun event as well as a chance to purchase books as a way to benefit The Connection School.

All Friday students need to have a permission slip signed and returned by Friday to participate in the field trip to Barnes and Noble. Please note all student pick up will be at Barnes and Noble in Copperfield.
