NEW - A Resistograph is utilized to detect and locate internal defects in trees which often cannot be seen from the outside.  It measures the location, extent of decay, and remaining wall thickness, giving a quantification of the structural integrity of a tree.

NEW - Our own mini skid steer helps out on jobs with large wood, spreading mulch, and creating our own compost formulated specifically for trees and shrubs.

California trip, November 2013.

We booked our trip to California to attend my art exhibit opening, but came away with an even deeper appreciation of our land and the gifts we are continually given from nature.

Exploring our world from different perspectives has given us a greater understanding of how much we need to better integrate nature into our cityscapes.

In our busy lives, we may not think much about how our land fits into our collective ecosystem.  However, the care of our little bit of earth is integral to the quality of our future.

Upon arriving in San Francisco, we were faced with house stacked upon house, with little trees to be seen.  Much like any other crowded metropolis, trees seemed to be sidelined.  What a difference we saw when comparing the California cities to Yosemite, Kings Canyon, and Big Sur.

Mother Nature Protects...

There is no doubt in my mind why nature is called “Mother.”  She continually gives, protects, and replenishes.  When trees are treasured, we understand that trees help to prevent storm water runoff, flooding, landslides, air and water pollution, heat islands, and drought to name but a few related to the urban environment.

We strive to keep North Georgia a balanced ecosystem.

Keep up the good work on caring for your trees.  Every little bit does make a difference.
