25 Years Sculpting

For the past 25 years I have been creating sculptures to the best of my ability, always experimenting, exploring and growing as an artist. It has been an amazing and colorful journey. Your encouragement, patronage and most importantly your friendship has supported me along the entire way. Linda, Amber and I can not thank you enough for being a part of our lives and career.

As I look forward to the future it looks exciting and at the same time scary. I am greatly encouraged to know that my dearest friends, all of you, are by my side as I charge into the next 25 years. Again, THANK YOU!

Tim thought you would enjoy seeing the process of building a Tim Cherry critter.
This is one he is working on at this time.
HOUSE SITTER.

House Sitter - First step, creating the foam armature.

House Sitter - Step two, Cover the foam with wax. So the clay sticks better.

House Sitter - Step three, laying on the clay.

House Sitter - Step four, the foam and wax armature are almost completely covered with clay. Details are beginning to appear and Tim is working out the orchestration of the shapes and lines.

House Sitter - Step five and through completion, the foam and wax armature are completely covered with clay. Details are appearing everywhere and the ongoing orchestration of the texture, form, shape, line and how the values of light will play are finalized. Tim will use artistic license in order to create an aesthetically pleasing and interesting sculpture. One that is balanced, rhythmic, has unity and harmony, contrast and proportion. And that you will enjoy!
