Welcome to 2014 – and we trust that it is going to be a Happy new year for all of us!
In this issue of our eNewsletter we are taking a slightly different approach – we are only publishing two articles (the ‘Value of Advice’; and ‘Aged Care’), but we are also giving you an overview of what we have planned for the year ahead.
We chose the Value of Advice article at this time because it is a topic that is often referenced by the financial services regulator (ASIC); by the financial media; and by consumer advocacy bodies who express concern about what is termed ‘conflicted remuneration’. In the article we also provide a link to a post on our website about the value of the advice our firm provides – which includes links to some of the testimonials you have provided over the past year or so.
Aged Care is always topical for those approaching a time when they need more care – as well as for family members who are often called on to ensure that any care needs are provided in the most suitable accommodation, at the appropriate level – and funded in an effective, affordable way. We seek to ease the stress of these challenges by providing services that help you better understand all of the processes involved; and by offering strategies to optimise your financial situation.
Our program for 2014 includes –
Delivery of eNewsletters each month
Occasional seminars on selected topics (likely so far: share portfolio management; self-managed super funds; Aged care; Debt management; personal risk (life) insurance)
Board-room lunches
Client ‘service satisfaction survey’
Client Briefings
Attending Securitor Convention - and
Day-by-day care of your needs/ demands on our services.
We are looking forward to a year in which the financial markets are expected to continue their upward trend; and one in which more of you will feel more confident about increasing your investments – and to pay us the privilege of referring members of your family and friends and/ or work colleagues to us.
