It has been a super busy January for us and we are looking forward to the rest of the year being the same. The website has had a little bit of an update over the break, we have had loads of new stock arrive and we have also listed Shoben Pattern Drafting tools.

To make shopping online with Voodoo Rabbit a little easier, we have added a new section to the webstore. You can now click the On Sale tab to find all of our discounted fabrics / items. Sale items will be continuously updated so check there regularly to snap up a bargain. All of our Make It Timber Cross Stitch Kits and Refills are listed and we won't be restocking once they are gone - so get in quick!
Pattern Drafting Supplies
We are the official Australian distributor of the Shoben Fashion Media range of drafting tools, books and pattern blocks. Dr Martin Shoben has designed an innovative and very practical range of equipment and work aides for the fashion industry.
His uniquely designed equipment is used through out the world and his books, patterns and DVDs are very influential and sought after by students, professional designers and lecturers.

Classes
New classes are progressively being added to the website. Most classes will be starting after the March Stitches & Craft Show but we still have limited spaces available for the Learn to Sew Class beginning February 16.
The Learn to Sew class structure has changed (for the better!) based on feedback from past students. We believe that the new structure will enable students to soak up solid sewing techniques and feel less rushed to finish each project.
This year we will be running an Introduction to Sewing with Knit Fabric. This is a great little course for both beginners and experienced sewists that aren't confident using stretch fabrics. Once you make your first tee you will never buy one off the rack again! Super quick, super easy and sweatshop free. For sewists that already have some experience sewing with knits we will also be running a knits masterclass. This class will be listed as soon as we finalise the details.
Once again, we are offering our Your Choice Sewing Classes. Run by Ky, these classes aren't structured but allow you to have her assist you with sewing up your own projects. They are also a great way to keep motivated with your sewing - having a set time and place to work on your projects with assistance nearby if you get stuck! |
