WE NEED YOU
TIME TO GET LOUD AND PROTECT MARYLAND
WE NEED YOUR VOICE
On Thursday, Feb. 20, the Maryland Public Service Commission (PSC) will begin reviewing permits for Dominion's $3.8 billion fracked-gas export facility on the Chesapeake Bay.
Join hundreds -- from the fracking fields of Pennsylvania to the Western mountains of Maryland to the DC suburbs and the Eastern Shore -- to show that people across our region want clean energy and safe communities, not a mega-facility for exporting dirty fracked gas. SIGN UP here and indicate if you want to ride a bus to the rally.
Carpools and/or bus will be leaving at 11 a.m. from The Meeting House - the Oakland Mills Interfaith Center, 5885 Robert Oliver Place, Columbia, MD 21045
A Baltimore Sun article highlights Cove Point safety concerns.
TAKE ACTION NOW!
- Please submit comments to PSC
- Tell Representative Hoyer to call for an Environmental Impact Statement
- Tell your state delegate and senator to support a fracking moratorium in 2014
