What's New: Pet Bandanas & Ruffles
Valentine's Day:
New for 2014 are coordinating bandanas and scrunchie neck ruffles made in two complementary fabrics I call "Lovely Hearts".
The fabric design has patterned hearts in shades of red and dark pink, on a background in soft colors of either pink or blue that remind me of cotton candy. The background design has faint flourishes of a damask pattern.
The bandanas can be ordered as either Collar Slipcover style or Scrunchie Bandanas. Click on an image for more information and to order.
For more sweet holiday bandanas and ruffles, see the
Valentine, St. Patrick's Day, Easter, Spring Pets section of my shop.
* Please order your Valentine neckwear no later than February 5, 2014
to ensure your pet will have it to wear on the 14th.
New Plaid and Any Occasion Bandanas:
I knew these fabrics would look great as bandanas as soon as I added them to my collection! Both can be ordered as either Scrunchie Bandanas with stretchy elastic necks or Collar Slipcover style bandanas.
The
Blue and Green Tartan Plaid Bandana has printed stripes of green, royal blue, black and yellow forming the all-over plaid design, identified on the fabric selvedge as 'Black Watch'. An internet search suggests this design may also referred to as Campbell. This bandana can be found in the
Plaid and Tartan section of my shop.
What does the dog say? The
Woof's Up? Dog Words Bandana has some suggestions! This adorable bandana has a variety of canine phrases in bright, cheerful colors organized graffiti-style on a chocolate brown background. It can be worn any time of year and can be found in the
Any Occasion and Misc section of my shop.
* If you see a fabric you like made as a bandana and would prefer it as a scrunchie neck ruffle, or vice versa, please don't hesitate to contact me for a custom order!
* Part of the sales price of the bandanas is donated to various Westie rescue organizations; part of each scrunchie neck ruffle goes to Ramapo-Bergen Animal Refuge (RBARI)

Clearance, Samples & Discontinued Items
Be sure to check the Clearance, Samples & Discontinued Items section of my ArtFire shop for slightly irregular pieces, discontinued seasonal bandanas, scrunchie ruffles and other clearance priced pieces.
I have recently added some discontinued Valentine and St. Patrick's Day items to the clearance section.
Destash Sewing & Needlework Supplies
I'm completely reorganizing my sewing room and will be listing some sewing and needlework supplies from my stash in my ArtFire shop.
Gently used or almost-new sewing patterns, fabric and notions for making ladies/misses' garments, baby and kid stuff, home decor and more will be added every few weeks. This destash project will continue throughout the year - I am still going through boxes and bins, so who knows what treasures I may find!
In January, I have listed some sewing patterns that were never used in these shop sections:
Destash Sewing Patterns..Misses, Women, and
Destash Sewing Patterns..Baby, Children.
Customer Photos
This is the section of each newsletter I look forward to most - It's always such a pleasure to see my customers wearing their ruffles and bandanas!
McGhee and Finley are looking quite handsome in their
Blue and Green Tartan Plaid and
Woof's Up scrunchie bandanas:
Isn't this a lovely Christmas card photo! Melissa sent us this picture of her puppy wearing a Peppermint Candy Scrunchie Neck Ruffle:
Kathi sent us this picture of her sweet puppy, also wearing a Christmas Red Tartan Scrunchie Neck Ruffle. We hope Santa Paws brought her some extra special treats!

The next newsletter is scheduled for February/March and will focus on Spring! If you would like to continue receiving email news from me, please
review your subscription preferences. If you would rather not receive any further notices, you can
unsubscribe here.
For the New Year, I'm simplifying the subscription options for this mailing list. There are now only two options, Subscribe to this Newsletter and Subscribe to my SewAmazin blog (on Blogger). And, to keep things fresh - and hopefully more timely - from now on, the newsletter will be published about once every 6 to 8 weeks instead of only once each quarter.
If you were previously subscribed to one of the options I eliminated, I have updated your profile to include the newsletter subscription. You are welcome to subscribe to either the newsletter, blog or both!
What is the difference between the two options? The newsletter features news about my shops, including new products, events and coupons while my blog focuses on my sewing and crafting projects, how they are made and the inspiration behind them.
~ Every item for sale in my shops is made by me on my home sewing machines in a smoke-free, pet-friendly environment. I take pride in the quality of my work and do my best to ensure that each item purchased will stand up to normal wear and tear. If it doesn't, please don't hesitate to contact me. I will be happy to repair or replace the item for up to one year from the original purchase date. ~
