News for Rochester AGO members

February 2014
From the Dean's Keyboard

Greetings!  I hope you are staying warm!
We had a great first AGO event of 2014 with Bruce Frank's class on modulation.  Many thanks to Bruce for conceiving of the program and for being such a good host at First Presbyterian Church of Pittsford.

This month we look forward to our next Rochester Celebrity Organ Recital Series on Friday, February 21.  Edoardo Bellotti will present a program on the Craighead-Saunders at Christ Church at 8 PM.  Please spread the word about this event and invite friends!!  We want to fill the pews.

Your board is working on planning a high school competition for musicians interested in the organ.  We have decided to hold this on May 11 to give potential applicants plenty of time to prepare their programs.  Please be in touch if you would like to help make this event happen.

I hope to see you this month!
Best wishes,
Annie Laver, Dean
