Phase 2 Progress

It seems like just yesterday that I began sending you these daily emails. But It's been 14 days on the diet. And you can't discount the 9 days of preparation which were very time consuming. So really you've completed 23 days and that is a long time! Take a moment to congratulate yourself on a job well done. You should be really proud of yourself.

I know the beginning is difficult, especially if this is a 180 from how you used to eat. Each week more foods come back and habits will begin to change and it will become more natural. Remind yourself of this in moments of frustration.

If you are adding back one food or food group every other day, today you can add your fourth new food or food group from Phase 2. If you haven't already, be sure to download our printable Comprehensive List of Allowable Foods by Diet Phase (4 page PDF) as a reference. It comes in handy when you're out shopping and unsure of what foods are coming back soon. As you add foods, continue to use your Symptom Journal and pay very close to your body.
