Conquering Cancer
They did it! This week, a group of of cancer survivors and supporters reached the summit of Mt. Kilimanjaro in Africa, the world's tallest free-standing mountain. The group included Growing Bolder Founder/CEO Marc Middleton and host/reporter Wendy Chioji, a two-time cancer survivor. They were joined by other climbers participating in the Survivor Summit, which benefits Livestrong.

Click here to find out why this climb was so important to Wendy's recovery from her latest cancer battle. In fact, the climb came just three months after she wrapped up her radiation and chemo treatments for thymic carcinoma! We'll be sharing many more stories and photos from this life-changing expedition in the coming weeks and months. In the meantime, visit our Facebook page to see updates from this past week's climb and to leave your words of support for this amazing adventure!
