South Sudan Mobile Medical Clinic Follow-Up in Terekeka
FEBRUARY 18, 2014
Jesus said to them, “They that are whole have no need of the physician, but they that are sick; I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.” Mark 2:17
Crowds gathered at last year's mobile medical outreach to receive treatment.
Many of the patients were very young!
“Then He said to his servants, The wedding is ready, but they which were bidden were not worthy. Go ye therefore into the highways, and as many as you shall find, bid to the marriage.” Matthew 22:8-9
Many came very sad and in great need.
Each is a beloved child of our Heavenly Father.
“But when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd. Then said He unto His disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the laborers are few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that He will send forth laborers into His harvest.” Matthew 9:37-38

Our team worked tirelessly.
Last year we partnered with a team from the US to bring our mobile medical outreaches to Terekeka, South Sudan. All forces merged to bring “divine reinforcement” for the work of Kingdom building. Today the burden for this area continues to weigh heavy upon our hearts. Medical help went out to these precious people. The Word of God and prayer covered them, but they are still “sheep without a shepherd.”

During our first visit, we found no churches, clinics, Bibles, pastors, teachers, leaders, or Sunday School workers in any of Terekeka’s villages. We are currently targeting these areas for church plants through our follow-up visits to distribute Solar Bible Story players and the written Word. This deep lack is why South Sudan needs us and needs you. Great work and healing has taken place, but it is prayer that shapes the history of nations. Through united, compassionate hearts God can do in days what we alone cannot do in years.
