When opening the mail last week, we received a picture of a sweet baby girl along with a thank you letter from her mother, a former client. Almost a year and a half ago, this client visited one of our centers and asked for an ultrasound to determine if she was too far along in her pregnancy to have an abortion. She was angry and abortion minded when she walked in the door, but after sitting with a counselor, getting information, and later receiving an ultrasound, she decided to choose life.
Our counselor remained in contact with this client through the remainder of her pregnancy and even coordinated a baby shower for her with ladies from her church. In the letter, this client expressed her heartfelt gratitude, “Not one day has gone by without crying or thinking about you wonderful ladies and all you've done for my beautiful angel.”

Ultrasounds Increase
If you live in Central Indiana, no one needs to tell you about how crazy the weather has been this winter. In addition to weather-related closings, some of our centers needed to temporarily close due to plumbing and electrical issues. So you would expect for the number of ultrasounds to be down over last year, right? Wrong! Over the first 5 weeks of this year, we saw a 57% increase in the number of ultrasounds compared to last year. Additionally out of the 41 preformed, only one client said she is still considering having an abortion after seeing her ultrasound. We praise God for numbers like these!
Ultrasound is a wonderful tool to reach these young women and save these precious lives. We offer it free of charge in our centers but it does come at a cost to us. Would you consider helping to fund this life-saving service?
