I recently wrote an article for American Lutherie Magazine on the Dangers of Dust. This magazine is the quarterly journal of the Guild of American Luthiers and is read by instrument makers worldwide. I have just posted it on my website blog so all may benefit. The original article was published in the Winter 2013 (Number 116) edition of the magazine.
Last week I finished building a guitar with a student in a private guitar building class. Here is a video made just a few minutes after the strings went on.
My private guitar building classes in my shop are filling fast for 2014. I still have a few spots left. I have a spot in my 8 day classical guitar building class Sept. 1-8. I also have some spots left for my classical (March 22,23) and steel string (June 21, 22) voicing classes. Contact me for more info.
