The Front Porch Social

Our first Front Porch Social will be held on Friday, March 21st, from 6:30 to around 8:30pm. Sam Stidham and Don Hatfield will be hosting, 7115 Coronado, and if it’s not too chilly, we’ll be hanging out in their backyard. Please bring an appetizer and drinks to share. Adults only please.

Free Tree Program

This year’s Lakewood Hills Neighborhood Associations Free Trees in the Parkway Program provided 33 trees to 11 different households this year. Crepe Myrtle's continue to be the neighborhood favorite and we are also adding several Shamard Red Oak trees, and Red Buds to name a few. We added six new trees to the 6800 block of La Vista, 25 trees to Coronado, and two trees to Casa Loma and Clayton.

Last weekend, a neighbor reported two men (African American male and Hispanic male in a black car – pictured to the left) were going door to door offering to paint address numbers on residents’ curbs. Be careful when dealing with such people.
