Making Hispanic Disciples in Oklahoma City. We thank God for giving us the opportunity to serve in the ministry of planting churches. God is good and is supporting this ministry. We want to tell you that God is opening doors to Hispanic homes in Oklahoma City. Currently, we have nine who have accepted Christ and are receiving discipleship every Sunday to help them grow in their spiritual life. They have been participating for two months. We are happy as we can see the change in them and that God is giving them the desire to work with us as we share Jesus with their neighbors, friends and family.

Burundi Prayer Focus Part II. This week we received the following news from Burundi: â€œThere were nine deaths among Friends, all children it appears. One family lost three children, three families lost 2 children each for a total of nine deaths. We listened to the personal account of Philip, the Kibimba Yearly Meeting clerk whose house and family was affected. The water came suddenly, electricity was cut and before they knew what was happening water was in their house and they found themselves putting children up out of the water. His home was less affected than many others..."

Saltshaker 2014 Bangladesh/Ireland. Check out the information that has been posted for the two EFCMAYM Saltshaker Mission trips planned to the EFM Mission fields of Bangladesh and Ireland during the summer of 2014. Please help pass on the word to those you think might be interested from your churches and areas, including high school students, college students, and others. See details here. Note that the applications and deposits were originally due February 15th, but registration is still open until the teams are full (at least a couple more weeks).

Friends Summit 2014 Vision Sharing. We often speak of the importance of developing emerging leaders. Sometimes, we call it passing the baton. And while most leaders would eagerly agree that preparing, empowering and releasing young leaders into the work of ministry is a primary value, putting muscle on that intention is harder than we think.

Coming in March: We are happy to announce that Igniting the Hope is the theme for a new EFM video series. When our missionaries were all gathered in Thailand, we couldnâ€™t pass up the opportunity to tell you more of their amazing kingdom stories. Fifteen missionary-featured videos, approximately three minutes each, will be released one at a time beginning in March 2014 (one missionary per video).
