Breaking down Facebook M&A trends. Facebook has acquired or acqui-hired over 50 startups since 2007. Only 7 Facebook-acquired startups ever got to the Series B stage and most raised less than $5M. Sequoia Capital and SV Angel both have 5 or more portfolio cos acquired by Facebook. Accel Partners, an early backer of FB, is absent from the list.
