"My daughter, Laura, will graduate with honors in May as a member of the Honors College. Laura received the Georgia State Foundation Scholarship, is Senior Editor of the Georgia State Signal newspaper, a member of the Symphonic Wind Ensemble and is an Honors College Ambassador. I truly believe the Honors College provides a safe social and learning environment that pushes your children to excel academically, socially, and personally. Laura tells me that she would not trade her Honors College experience for anything other schools that accepted her could provide."

Mallory is the Alumni and Events Coordinator for the Honors College. A native of Roswell, Georgia, Mallory received her bachelors degree from Vanderbilt University and her M.A. in College Student Development from Appalachian State University. Prior to joining Georgia State, Mallory served in Orientation and Special Programs at The University of Alabama and in Student-Alumni Engagement at Vanderbilt. With her background in programming, student development, and alumni relations, Mallory will foster community within the Honors College through alumni engagement and by executing signature events and experiences for current students, alumni and parents.
