Hi! This is the first "what's new" email update for myWriteClub, which I'll probably send once a month or so. I hope you're enjoying the beta! We've been live for over three months, over 200 goals have been completed, and the number increases almost daily!

New Feature: @mentions!

When leaving a comment, type an @ sign followed by someone's user name, and they will get a notification at the top of the website. They may also receive an email.

Coming Soon

Word sprints... Work alongside your friends, and see everyone's word counts update in real time. Earn a star for every 100 words, and a shiny gold star for every 1000 words.

Public goals... You'll be able to show off your goals without requiring viewers to have a myWriteClub account.

Fix accidental progress updates... Accidentally enter the wrong amount or update the wrong goal? You'll be able to undo.

Heartbleed

The myWriteClub website is not affected by Heartbleed, which is a security problem for websites that use software called OpenSSL. myWriteClub does not use OpenSSL. You can go to heartbleed.com for more details about the vulnerability.
