MAAPPS Provides Testimony Opposing Senate Bill 838

On February 20th, MAAPPS (the Mid-Atlantic Association of Professional Process Servers) leaders were joined by members and non-members as they attended a Senate hearing regarding Senate Bill 838. The bill appears to be a follow up to Senate Bill 554, which was opposed by MAAPPS and ultimately tabled late last year.

NYSPPSA Seeks 14 Day Grace Period for Process Server License Renewal

After receiving numerous complaints from members regarding licensing renewal within the five boroughs of New York City, the New York State Professional Process Servers Association (NYSPPSA) has submitted a letter to the New York City Department of Consumer Affairs (NYC DCA) seeking clarification and a grace period for applicants.
