With a great performance of Agustin Merlos (9 goals-5 penalties) and Arellano, El caburé defeat in the semifinal the team of Las Lechuzas and will play the final against Valiente.
Las Monjitas received one goal handicap because Valiente played with hcp 21, but still lost the semifinal in a very close game that started winning. Finally the win goes to the team of Valiente
 in a game with most of the goals converted by penalty shots. Caset made 7 goals, 6 on penalties.

The 2014 Outback 40-Goal Challenge

 
Last Saturday 15th at the International Polo Club some of the best polo players in the world participated in the 2014 Outback 40-Goal Challenge in support of the Polo Players Support Group. This annual event is the major fund-raiser that offered financial assistance to players and grooms who are seriously ill or have injuries.
Polito Pieres with a great performance again, converted two goals in the final minute of the last chukker to get the victory for his team EFG Bank.

The Mc Laren Silver Cup 


Ghantoot Polo Team won at the Dubai Polo & Equestrian Club the first tournament of the Dubai Gold Cup 2014 Polo Series. Habtoor Team won the Hildon Cup (subsidiary) by defeating Mahra in another great game.
After an exhibition of great polo Ghantoot, lead by Facundo Sola, managed to control the last action of the game for the final victory that gave them the Mc Laren Silver Cup title.

> Well put! Good you broached the subject as so many managers look the other way thus creating a greater problem...essentially creating disaster. The few managers that have a backbone have no problems as they do not listen to petty things and do not hide behind anyone. Good to remind individuals it is a game where there needs to be respect and coexistence.
