Joseph Drouhin Gevrey Chambertin 2009 90 Points Burghound.com

Sweet Spot” Wines from the 2009 vintage. This is notably ripe with blue and red berry liqueur aromas that are liberally laced with an intense floral component. There is fine volume to the delicious, vibrant and relatively powerful medium-bodied flavors that also enjoy an abundance of dry extract that coats the palate on the long and balanced finish. Again, an excellent quality level for a villages level wine."

Joseph Drouhin Cotes de Beaune 2010 Wine Enthusiast 92

The 2010 Cote de Beaune comes across as quite fleshy and supple. Dark red berries, licorice, spices and tobacco are some of the notes that flesh out in this radiant, gracious wine. Drouhin uses young vines from Clos des Mouches and several other 1er Crus for the Cote de Beaune. I especially like the round finish for the way it elevates the wine. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2018

Swanson Merlot 2009

The 2009 Swanson Oakville Merlot is the perfect reminder of why so many serious red wine drinkers like Merlot. Visually, aromatically, and on the palate, the wine is plush and generous. The color is dark garnet with a purple edge. The nose is captivating, with aromas of fresh, ripe black cherry, plum, raspberry, and well-integrated toasted oak. In the mouth, very ripe black and red fruits surround a core of velvety tannin. The finish is enticing, silky-smooth, long and harmonious. This Merlot will continue to improve in the bottle.

Jordan Cabernet Sauvignon 2003 90 Cellar Tracker

The blending of Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot with the Cabernet Sauvignon is responsible for the well integrated flavors, deep color and full mouth feel of the 2003 vintage. The vibrant blueberry qualities of the Petit Verdot marry well with the soft, alluring flavors of Merlot and contribute to the complexity of the masculine, tannic nature of the Cabernet Sauvignon. The 2003 Jordan Cabernet is very rich in texture with opulent flavors, a restrained framework of oak and a lingering finish of subtle earth, cigar tobacco and cedar.

Regularly $64.99 Sale Price $49.99
Jordan Cabernet Sauvignon 2007 Magnum 90 Cellar Tracker

The 2007 growing season made this vintage a winemaker's dream. A smaller crop yielded more concentrated flavors in the grapes, and moderate temperatures allowed the fruit to mature slowly and beautifully. A seamless wine, the 2007 Jordan Cabernet Sauvignon exudes beautiful, dense, blackberry aromas that echo through the mid-palate. The mouthfeel is silky-smooth with soft, round tannins accented by a vanilla quality from aging one year in primarily French oak barrels. Enjoyable now or worthy of cellaring through 2020. 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot, 4% Petit Verdot and less than 1% Malbec

One of the best vintages ever for California Cabernet.  Impress your friends with an iconic Cabernet or put in the cellar and enjoy years later.
